What responsible buyer support should do

01

Clarify the brief

Separate lifestyle, investment and immigration goals before comparing property.

02

Verify the asset

Review title, debts, building rules, intended use and the authority of every party.

03

Protect the money trail

Coordinate the payment route and foreign-investment record before funds move.

04

Name the limits

Use licensed lawyers, accountants and immigration professionals for regulated advice.

Questions international buyers ask first

Can a foreigner buy property in Colombia?

Yes. Colombia's official investment portal states that Colombian nationals and foreigners have the same powers and rights when buying real estate. Non-resident funds used for the purchase should be routed and registered correctly as foreign investment.

Do I need a Colombian visa before I buy?

Property ownership and immigration status are separate questions. Buying can be possible without first becoming a resident, while any visa application has its own current requirements. Confirm the current category with Colombia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Does Patricia Herrera list property in Medellín?

Patricia Herrera's direct inventory and deepest operating experience are in Santander, including Bucaramanga, Floridablanca and Ruitoque. A Medellín inquiry starts with a fit review; the site does not claim to directly represent Medellín listings it does not control.
